It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley June Watters of Hillsboro, Ohio, born in West Union, Ohio, who passed away on May 16, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Robert Brooks and Mildred Brooks (Bennett); her husband Donald "Don" Watters; and her son-in-law Kevin Stanforth. She is survived by: her children, Barbara Stanforth and Chris Clark (Lori); her grandchildren, Jason Morris (Cheryl), Christin Morris, Veronica Lawson (John), Maria Edmonson (Stephen), Christopher Clark, Carrie Clark and Clairissa Clark; her siblings, Danny Brooks (Beth Ann), Beverly Jimison and Linda Parish (Larry Williamson); her stepchildren, Richard Ray Watters (Jane) and Linda M. Hudson (Michael); and her stepgrandchildren, Madelaine Parent (Kelvin), Michael Hudson Jr. (Danielle), Richard R. Watters Jr., Melinda L. Davis (James), Noelle Hahn (Damon) and Brandon Smyczek (Marissa). She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren, numerous step great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
