He is survived by: his wife Fiafia Thomsen; his children, John V. Tufele (Nohelani) of Hawaii, Shawn Anthony Thomsen of Hillsboro and Rudolph Thomsen, Jr. of Hillsboro; his grandchildren, Leilani, Lehua, Fiafia, FuaauToa, Troy, Victoria and Faanofo; his great grandchildren, Haydin and Damien; and his siblings, Masina Thomsen (Athena), Richard Thomsen (Thelma), Judith Thomsen, Victoria Jessop, Tessa Fraser and Agnes Soon. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
