He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles "Sonny" Bayless and Virginia Bayless (Colston); his parents-in-law, Billy and Helen Helterbrand; his grandson Caleb Helterbrand; and his sisters-in-law, Wanda Heaton and Jenny Bayless.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy Bayless (Helterbrand); his children, James Helterbrand (Jennifer) of Hillsboro, Joshua Helterbrand of Hillsboro, Michael "Mike" Marcum (Narrissa) of Harrison, Angie Mills of Crystal River, FL, Anita Bolin (Mike) of Sardinia, Kitty Marsden of Hillsboro and Toni Floyd of Ormon Beach, FL; and his siblings, Kenny Bayless of Goshen, Charles "Eddie" Bayless (Judy) of Goshen, James Bayless of Georgetown, Albert Bayless of Goshen and Tonia Lynch of New Richmond.
