He was predeceased by: his parents, Sara Jean Bloom Higgins and Warren Higgins; his aunt Naomi Newhouse of Kettering; his grandparents, Mozelle and Egar Bloom; and his parents-in-law, Howard and Caroline Rhoads.
He is survived by: his wife Christine Rhoads Storer; his daughters, Vicki Collins (Mike) of Hillsboro and Kim Johnson (Jeffery) of Hillsboro; his grandchildren, Shelby Tolle (Cody) of Wilmington, Sydney Bobbitt of Cincinnati, Stephanie Johnson of Hillsboro and J. D. Johnson of Hillsboro; his great grandchildren, Mason and Liam Tolle; his siblings, Steve Higgins of Hillsboro, Melody Evans of Hillsboro, Jacqueline Freshour of Greenfield and Ben; and his sister-in-law Judy Rhoads of Florida. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
