He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Bloom and Mary Bloom (Walker) of New Market, Ohio.; his sisters, Doris Jean Ayres and Charlotte Garbet; and his daughter-in-law Cindy McMonigle Bloom.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his sons, John Bloom and Jeffery; his daughter-in-law Tamara Bloom; his grandchildren, Janelle Rockey (Adam) of Hillsboro, Laura Byers (Brian) of Pawnee, Zachary Bloom (Sarah Jacobson) of Bloomingburg, Emily Jackson (Matthew) of Hillsboro, Jade Seaman (Todd) of Lynchburg and Jenna Wagner (Robbie) of Russellville; his great grandchildren, Makenna Byers, Magarah Bloom, Maddyson Byers, Allison Rockey, Joslyn Rockey, Meri Jackson, Meyer Bloom, Hayden Wagner, Maggie Jackson and Hadley Wagner; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Justin, Joseph and Paisley Thompson; and his sister Nancy Bloom Green.
