He was predeceased by: his mother Rosemary Marie Cottrell (Dilley); and his mother-in-law Florence Nichols. He is survived by: his father Clarence Billy Joe Cottrell; his wife Sandra "Sandy" Kay Nichols Cottrell; his children, Randi Pitzer (Brian) of Hillsboro and Stephen Jacobs (Kimberlee) of Sabina; his grandchildren, Clayton, Zackary (Harley), Hayden, Sarah, Sophia, Brayley, Kinzey and Dawson; his siblings, Julie Ann Ward (Melvin) and Ed Cottrell (Blanche) of Greenfield; and his sister-in-law Sharon Fithen (Rick). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
