With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Mary Strain (Hillsboro, Ohio), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Mary left this world on March 26, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Germann and Bertha Germann (Schwallie); her husband Roger O. "Pete" Strain; her daughter-in-law Juanita Strain; and her siblings, Mike Germann and Betty Jo Colvin.
She is survived by: her children, Anita Norris, Jo Hartley (Randy), Frances Randolph (Blaze Brown), Pat Strain (Peggy Ward) and Mike Strain (Paula); and her siblings, Willie Germann and Toni Patton. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (212 S High St, Hillsboro, OH 45133). A Mass was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Mary's name to St. Mary's Catholic Church Memorial Fund, 212 S. High St., Hillsboro, OH 45133.
