She is survived by: her husband James "Jim" Slater; her children, Theresa Slater of Hillsboro, James Slater (Becky) of Winchester and Dee Slater of Milford; her grandchildren, Jeffery Slater, Dustin Slater (Tamara Baughey), Daniel Slater, James Slater, Chloe Slater, Tabatha Carver (James), Tiffany Turner (Seth), Austin Deatherage (Santana Light), Cody Slater (Katherine Allen), Brandunn Smith, Megan Smith, Caleb Smith, Tessa Black and Ava Black; her great grandchildren, Reillie Carver and Damien Allen; and her siblings, Buford Piatt of New Richmond, Ruby Piatt of New Vienna and Linda Walls (Mike) of Sabina. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, step siblings, and friends.
