She was predeceased by: her father Lowell Page; her husband Stephen Carter, Sr.; and her sons, William Carter and Maxwell Carter. She is survived by: her mother Clara Page (Fields) of Hillsboro; her children, Stephen Carter, Jr. of Hillsboro and Semara Carter of Lynchburg; her grandchildren, Donald Carter, Diena, Brookelyn, Stephen, III, Jeremiah Carter, Erica Wilson, Perry, Allen and Michael Gibson, Jr.; and her siblings, Lowell Page (Judith) of Hillsboro, James Page (Tressia) of Hillsboro, Carl Page of Hillsboro, Elizabeth Young of Hillsboro and C. J. Thorton (Cole) of Cincinnati. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
