He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Shelton and Barbara Shelton (Spruance). He is survived by: his wife Dee Shelton; his siblings, Michelle Adkins (Mary LeVan) of South Vienna and Joseph Shelton of Highland; his children, Brittany Barnett (Keith) of Pleasant Plain and Luke Shelton of Leesburg; and his grandsons, Dean Barnett and Cole Houck. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
