He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward E. Ellis and Shirley A. Ellis (Wilson); and his sister Vicki Sue Delosier. He is survived by: his daughters, Ashley Stiles of Hillsboro and Carlena Ellis (Skylar) of Blanchester; his grandchildren, LeLind Stiles, Preslee Ellis and Kash Tomlinson; his siblings, Theresa Kosanke of Naples, Pamela K. Mesce of Everglades City, Sandra Jean Hackney of Naples, Kelly E. Horton of Lebanon, David Eugene Beatty of Naples, Edward Ellis II of Lucasville and Klon David Ellis of Orlando, Florida; and his aunt Wanda McDuffee. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
