She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Kersey and Phyllis Kersey (Hiney); her husband Charles Ronald Markins; her daughters, Sheri and Carrie; her brother Roger Kersey; and her grandson Derek Metz.
She is survived by: her children, Matthew Markins (Kathleen) of Goshen, Darren Markins (Lisa) of Union and Karmala Metz (Glyn) of Hillsboro; her siblings, Ronnie Kersey (Jackie) of Wilmington, John Kersey (Jeanette) of Milford, Don Kersey (Patricia) of Springboro, Paul Kersey (Jeannie) of Florence, Kentucky and Kay Kersey of Norwalk; her grandchildren, Tiffany, Taylor [Matt], Elijah (Mikayla), Jenna (Adam), Trace (Rachel), Gabe [Darren], Heather (Dan), Zac (Virginia) and Garret [Karmala]; and her great grandchildren, John (Heather), Serenity, Lillian (Zac) and Delilah (Elijah).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton where she received compassionate care in her last hours on earth.
