It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine Faye Mitchell (Hillsboro, Ohio), who passed away on February 19, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Clarence and Lena Faye Frost (Shaw); her spouse Ival "Mitch" Mitchell; her brother Walter Clarence "Buddy" Frost; and her half-sisters, Alice Pauline Frost, Kaye Aldridge and Sharon Bales.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mindy Tissot (Mike), Mandy Mitchell-Cox (Chris) and Mona Mitchell (Marcus); her stepchildren, Michelle Grigsby (Curt) and Jimmy Mitchell (Lisa); her grandchildren, Ashley Tissot (Danny Thokey), Jared Tissot (Mekinna Little), Sydni Daniels, Shane Mitchell-Cox, Shawn Mitchell-Cox, Samuel Mitchell-Cox, Kyle Curran, Kameron Curran and Konner Curran; her half-siblings, Jana Newton (Mark) and Gerald Frost Jr.; her aunt Virginia R. Hunt; and also Maggie.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home (138 E Main St, Hillsboro, OH 45133).
Contributions in Kathie's memory may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with expenses.
