With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Juanita M Chaney (Hillsboro, Ohio), who passed away on October 9, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Smith and Dorothy Smith (Hughes); her former husband Marvin Atkin; her husband Alva "Jack" Chaney; and her children, David L. Chaney and Esther Lynn Adkins.
She is survived by: her friends, Wilmington Church of Christ, Fairfield Church of Christ, Livonia Church of Christ and Pricetown Church of Christ; her children, Dave Atkin (Brenda) of Washington State, Deborah Nicholson (Rampsy) of Maryland, Beckie Tremblay (Mario) of Florida, Linda Chaney of Lynchburg and Paul Chaney (Sharon) of Lynchburg; her grandchildren, Emily, Tabitha, Noah, Catie, Maggie, Alyssa, Zak, Seth, Tim, Brian, Allen, Kimberly, Angie, Travis, Jenny and Sarah; her sister Judy McQuintty of North Carolina; her nephews, Mike and Joe Martin; and her brother Larry Atkin (Barbara) of Virginia. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
