He was predeceased by: his parents, Hollis "Holly" D. Rowland and Susan Kathryn MacIntosh Rowland; his granddaughter Haylee Harigel; and his sister Janell Brown. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Moore Rowland; his daughters, Carrie Case (Robert) of Highland County and Kelly Harigel (Eddie) of Leesburg; his grandchildren, Cory Case, Ashley Deatley (Ricky), Bree Biscoe, Ryan Biscoe and Caitlin Harigel; his great grandchildren, Rylan and Sawyer; his siblings, Daryl Ray Rowland (Jane) of Peebles, Steve Rowland (Jeannette) of Kettering and Gary Rowland of Peebles; and his nephew Matt Rowland. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations can be made in John's honor to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
