He was predeceased by: his parents, William Edward Spriggs and Maude May Spriggs (Smith); his wife Donna Lou Spriggs; and his son William Gregory Spriggs. He is survived by: his sons, Brian Edward Spriggs (Jennifer) of Hillsboro and Shawn Michael "Mike" Spriggs (Rachel) of Greenfield; and his grandchildren, Megan Nance, Casey Spriggs, Desi Hinkle (Cody), Faith Spriggs, Logan Spriggs, Zeb Brewer and Kendall Spriggs. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
