He is survived by: his wife Robin Patten (Hall); his children, Jerry Patten, Jr., Matthew Patten, Angie Nutley, Leslie Molen, Tamara Gibson, Ashley Hall, Tara Kelly (Joseph Potts-Harperee), Michael Kelly and Aaron Hall; and his siblings, Joyce Ann Jeffers, Janice Kelley and Stanley Rochelle Patton. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
