He is survived by: his sons, Stephen Ferrell (Tammy) of Leesburg, James W. Ferrell (Karen) of Beaufort, SC and Brian Ferrell of Hillsboro; his grandchildren, Summer Howard (Roy), Zachary Ferrell (Meghan), Cody Ferrell (Ali), Chelsie Hurst (Ryan), Shannon Hall (Christopher), Dominay Ferrell, Emily Ferrell, Luke Ferrell, Andrew Ferrell and Kelan Ferrell; his siblings, Agnes Barker (David) of Chillicothe, Lois Montgomery (Eddie) of Greenfield and Mike Ferrell of Hillsboro; and his brother-in-law Noel McComas of Hillsboro. He is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren.
