With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James L. Cook of Hillsboro, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 4, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Cook, and Jimmie Lee Cook, Jr. (Foster); his brother Tommy Earl Cook; and his niece Robin Walk. He is survived by: his wife Christine DeCamp Cook (Mackey); his children, Sharon Cook Price, Elizabeth Ann Cook and David Earl Cook (Michelle); his grandchildren, Jonathan Maupin (Kathryn), William Maupin, Andrew Thomas, Samuel Thomas, Gabrielle Cook, Elisha Cook (Harley) and Ethan Cook; his great grandchildren, Quinlyn Maupin, Teagan Maupin and Harrison Maupin; and his nieces and nephews, Donna Case (Eric), Tommy Cook, Jr. (Tracie), Martha Mackey, Kathleen King (Al), Virginia Graham, Tristan Mackey, Stuart Mackey (Amber) and Mark Mackey (Susan). He is also survived by Father; his love for family, friends, and country; and the Father.
