It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Howard Wallace (Hillsboro, Ohio), born in Morehead, Kentucky, who passed away on January 28, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Howard may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Howard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Wallace and Lyda Wallace (Janet); his granddaughter Michelle Lainhart; his sister Estella Sams; and his stepsons, Douglas and Gary Trefz.
He is survived by: his children, Roger Wallace (Linda) of Columbus and Sharon Gustin of Wilmington; and his stepson Tim Trefz (Maureen). He is also survived by seven grandchildren several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and countless friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Thompson Funeral Home. A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
