He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Blanton and Gladys Blanton (Widdig); his wife Anita Kay Blanton; and his brother James Blanton. He is survived by: his daughter Kelly Blanton of Clitheroe, England; his grandchildren, Daniel, Grace and Adam; and his brother Charles Blanton of Lucasville.
