She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Hatton, and Maime Hatton, Jr.. She is survived by: her brothers, Mike and Kenny Hatton; her husband Clavis R. Lewis; her sons, Kenny Akers (Shawna), Samuel McCullough, Danny Akers, Mike Akers and Charles David McCullough; and her siblings, Glenn Hatton and Phyllis Hatton. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and many other family members and friends.
