He is survived by: his wife Marie K. Tye of Hillsboro, OH; his children, Linda M. Tye of Hillsboro, OH and Stephen C. Tye of Sumter, SC; his grandchildren, Jessica M. Tye-McLeod of Sumter, SC, Jennifer C. Tye of Charlotte, NC, Andrew P. Stricker of Tacoma, Scott J. Stricker of Denver, CO and Eric; his great grandchildren, Ryland J. and Madelyn K. McLeod of Sumter, SC; and his sister Shirley Craig of Wilmington, NC.
