It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Esther Cathryn Chapman of Hillsboro, Ohio, who passed away on December 19, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Isaac and Mina Edna Aber (Robinson); her former husband Starling Waits (Pete); her husband Edward Chapman; and her sisters, Margaret Ramey, Ellen Leach and Frances Jacobson.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Garyn Waits (Cheryl), Joe Etienne (Rhonda), Lora Simmons (Shane), Jerrod Etienne (Amy), Gregory Waits (Nina), Heather Jones and Ben Waits; and her stepgrandsons, Travis LeForge (Laura) and Shane LeForge (Ashley). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
