She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Ellis and Mary Hendrixson Ellis; her husband Robert Hodson; her daughter Susan Hodson Rinehart; her granddaughter Ashley Brooke Hodson; and her sister Marguerite Springer.
She is survived by: her sons, David Hodson (Judy) of Cornelius, N. C. and Jeff Hodson (Phyllis) of Washington, C. H.; and her grandchildren, Jarrett Hodson (Leigh) of Mt. Pleasant, S. C., Meredith John (Matt) of Ft. Mill, S. C., Laura Lee Parker (Stephen) of Huntersville, N. C., Nathan Hodson (Karissa) of Columbus, Courtney Hodson of Lancaster, Tori Rinehart of Athens and Lance Rinehart of Logan. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hillsboro Global Methodist Church (133 E Walnut St, Hillsboro, OH 45133). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at the Hillsboro Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers. Contributions can be made to the Hillsboro Global Methodist Church or the Highland County Historical Society.
