He was predeceased by: his parents, David Lee Waits Sr. and Lula Mae Davis (Prine); and his parents-in-law, John and June Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Carol Waits (Thompson); his daughter Brittany; his son-in-law Justin Chandler of Hillsboro; his siblings, Rick Waits (Angie) of Peebles, Lou Ann Jones (Mike Marsh) of Winchester, Patti Lowe (Mark) of Peebles and Kevin Waits (Misty) of Winchester; his aunt Barb Moler (Sam) of Mt. Orab; his uncle Mike Waits (Sandy) of Cape Coral, FL; his brother-in-law Darren Thompson of Leesburg; his niece Shania Thompson of Leesburg; and his nephew Austin Thompson (Anita). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Edgington Funeral Home (138 E Main St, Hillsboro, OH 45133). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
