It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Davene Reed of Hillsboro, Ohio, who passed away on May 23, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Orville and Ulia Mae Spence (Thompson); and her sister Becky Gilbert. She is survived by: her husband Jim Reed; her children, Julie Walker (Gary) of Dayton, Cheri Hall (Robert) of Alabama, Mike Reed (Sue) of Hillsboro and Bill Reed (Cindy) of Peebles; and her sisters, Patti Rhoads, Jenny Vesey (Joe) of Hillsboro, Margy Malicote of Hillsboro and Alice Porter of Peebles. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, several great and great great grandchildren.
