He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Lunsford and Marie Lunsford (Ballsinger); his brother Dan Lunsford; his grandson Cody Patton; and his son-in-law Jeff Patton.
He is survived by: his children, Amy Patton of Hillsboro, Charles Lunsford, Jr. of Hillsboro, Cindy Lunsford of Hillsboro, Tammy Bradds (Blaine) of Hillsboro, Alissa Hart of Sinking Spring, Travis Kirk (Brenda) of Sinking Spring and Elizabeth Lunsford of Hillsboro; his siblings, Jack Lunsford, Bessie Cooper (Tom) and Don Lunsford; his former wife Celesta "Mae" Lunsford; and his close friends, Jack and Joleene. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and many great grandchildren.
