He was predeceased by: his parent Thomas Gloyd; his wife Barbara Gloyd; and his daughter-in-law Jessica Gloyd. He is survived by: his children, Shirley Throckmorton (Carmon), Richard Gloyd (Mariah) and Bryan Gloyd; his stepson Terry Gloyd; his grandchildren, Dennis Richard Penwell, Jr. (Kristina), Tony Daniel Penwell (Elizabeth), Charles David Penwell, Foster Carlos Walters, Christy Mae Fox, Nikita Faith Gloyd, Infanity Nicole Gloyd and Clinton Blair; his great grandchildren, Isabella Blair, Leony Penwell, Skylar Penwell and Kelley Penwell; and his caregiver Tina Crago. He is also survived by numerous siblings, nieces, nephews, and friends.
