She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl H. Shafer and Grace Shafer (McCreight); her sister Patsy Duncan; and her brothers-in-law, Don and Larry Tira.
She is survived by: her husband James Tira; her son Brad (Casie Tira); her grandchildren, Hope, Britton Haines, Blake and Layken Tira; her brothers, Robert (Donna Tira) and Steve (Nancy Parry); and her nieces and nephews, Janet (Bob Martin), Joyce (Frank Cosler), Jeff (Lydia Duncan) and Jay (Julie Duncan).
