She was predeceased by: her husband Dennis Vanden Eynden; her parents, Henry Calvin Lester and Georgia Whitt; and her siblings, Jeannie Layne and Phil Lester.

She is survived by: her brothers, Van Lester, Tony Lester and Allen Lester; and her sons, Matthew, Aaron (Ashley), Calvin and Joe (Heather). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
