She was predeceased by: her parents, Burl Phares and Eunice Fisher Phares; her son David Dever; and her sister Barbara Jo McComb. She is survived by: her husband Gary Dever; her daughter Gay Sowers (Wayne Hummel); her sister Mary Kay Swindler; her grandchildren, Brandon, Dylan Sowers, Jordan and Brooklyn Dever; and her great grandchild Mary Lee Sowers. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
