He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Brewer; his parents, Ralph R Brewer and Lula B Brewer; and his siblings, Donald "Ducker" Brewer and Carol Henderson (Junior).

He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Gahm (Cary); his grandson Ryan Gahm; his siblings, John Brewer, Charlie Brewer and Jeannie Spires (Roger); and his sister-in-law Chris Brewer. He is also survived by nephews and many family/friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
