With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michael VanMeter of Hilliard, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 8, 2024 at the age of 73. He was predeceased by: his parents, Angus VanMeter and Delores Green; and his stepmother Jan VanMeter. He is survived by: his wife Donna Marilyn VanMeter; his son James Curtis VanMeter; his stepson D. J. Haines (Julie); his siblings, David VanMeter (Suzanne), Sheree McDonald and Deborah Bowman (Jeff); and his grandchildren, Haley, Dylan and Justin Haines. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews as well as many loving family and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Tidd Funeral Home (9720 OH-161, Plain City, OH 43064). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
