It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael R. Hobbs of Hilliard, Ohio, born in Mount Vernon, Ohio, who passed away on June 29, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Hugh Eugene Hobbs; his son Michael; his brother Charlie; his sister-in-law Sue; and his nephew Hugh.
He is survived by: his mother Jean Hobbs (McCalla); his children, Andrea Ignasiak of Dublin, OH, Kylie Hoover (Ryan) of Hilliard, OH, Jacob Hobbs of Grove City and Sydney Hobbs of Delaware, OH; his grandchildren, Finn, McKenna, Layne, Anderson and Sawyer; and his sister Jill Phillips of Mount Vernon, OH.
The family has requested that remembrances be made in the form of contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
