He was predeceased by: his parents, Erwin Leffel and Antoinette Leffel; and his sister-in-law Lynne Leffel. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Leffel (Blankemeyer); his sons, Benjamin Leffel and Jacob Leffel; and his siblings, Erwin "Koko" Leffel and Mary Lou Masitto (Louis). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
