He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Dever (Bill) and Vera Jane Dever; his wife Sophie; and his son David Dever. He is survived by: his daughter Gay Sowers (Wayne Hummel); his brother Scott Dever (Ann Nagle); his grandchildren, Brandon, Dylan Sowers, Jordan and Brooklyn Dever; and his great grandchild Mary Lee Sowers. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Franklin County Agricultural Society and Fairgrounds in Gary's name.
