It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Jean Young of Hilliard, Ohio, who passed away on November 22, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Barbara Jean Young to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence "Red" (Wilma Stover) and Barb. She is survived by: her husband Mark Young; her children, Katie Young-Estep (Chad) and Steven Young (Lauren); her granddaughters, Elle, Claire, Madeleine, Charlotte and Grace; and her brothers, Greg Stover (Randie) and John Stover. She is also survived by many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tidd Family Funeral Home (5265 Norwich St, Hilliard, OH 43026). A prayer was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church (4475 Dublin Rd, Hilliard, OH 43026).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the James Cancer Hospital (Gynocologic Oncology Development Fund) which provided amazing and compassionate care for Barb.
