He was predeceased by: his parents, Alberto Franco and Assunta Di Franco; his sister Lucia Di Benedetto (Ascenzo); and his parents-in-law, Alberto and Maria Pecororo.
He is survived by: his wife Filomena; his children, Roberto, Gianni (Marie) and Maria Di Franco Childs (Chris); his grandchildren, Vincent, Evianna, Nadia and Brielle; and his siblings, Ermanno (Sabina), Enia Di Franco (late Adelio), Carmella Pollice (late Donato), Filomena Coletta (Adelio), Maria Delle Donne (Ennio) and Mario Di Franco (Maria).
