She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert James and Evelyn Josephine Benson (Koester); her sister Gloria; her brother-in-law Richard Fahey; her siblings, Peggy Feldmann, Gilbert Benson and Roger Benson; and her son-in-law Mark Henson.
She is survived by: her husband Lawrence F. "Larry" Sowders; her children, Lawrence M. Sowders, Daniel Sowders (Dorothy), Evelyn West, Alice Watson (Derek), Janet Morris (Bruce), Suzanne "Sam" Henson, Gloria Geck (Glenn) and Mark Sowders; her close friends, Candy Fisher, Susie Deatley and Dee Shelton; her siblings, Betty Burk (Jim), Rich Benson (Karen), Bob Benson (Kathy) and Carol Benson; and her siblings-in-law, Denny Feldmann and Bonnie Benson. She is also survived by 38 Grandchildren, 46 Great Grandchildren.
