It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shelia K. Finchum of Hicksville, Ohio, born in Montpelier, Ohio, who passed away on June 3, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleo Stantz and Marie Stantz (Ensman); her daughter Sara Finchum; and her brother Al Stantz. She is survived by: her husband Johnny R. Finchum of Hicksville, Ohio; her children, Jody Jones (Michelle) of Dahlonega, Christina Seabolt (David Looper) of Orange Park, Tony Jones (Andrea) of Dahlonega and Amanda Trevarthen (Scott) of Gainesville, Georgia; her siblings, Rose Kelley (Bud) of Montpelier, Ohio, Joe Stantz (Linda) of Blakeslee, Larry Stantz of Bryan, Curtis Stantz (Yvonda) of Spring Lake and Mayor Jackie Stantz (Sami) of Sherwood, Ohio; and her close friend Deannie Osmun of Hicksville, Ohio.. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren, several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
