With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert A. Brickel Jr. of Hicksville, Ohio, who passed away on January 10, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert A. Brickel and Ruth M. Brickel Sr. (Weber); and his brother-in-law Cliff Witmer. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy J. Thompson of Hicksville; his son Chase Elliot; his siblings, Dianne Witmer of Leo and William "Bill" Brickel (Pat) of Harriman, Tennessee; his niece Jade Delagrange (Clint) of Leo, Indiana; his nephew Tyler Witmer (Randa) of Leo, Indiana; his great-niece Adessa Witmer; and his great-nephew Boone Delagrange.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home (706 N Main St, Hicksville, OH 43526). A burial was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at the Forest Home Cemetery (9 Main St, Hicksville, OH 43526).
