It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Guilford of Hicksville, Ohio, born in Defiance, Ohio, who passed away on September 14, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald "Banty" Guilford and Clara Guilford (Wilhelm); his brothers, Terry Guilford and John; and his sister-in-law Linda Guilford.
He is survived by: his children, Samuel Guilford (Vickie) of Cincinnati, Dan Guilford (Randi) of Hicksville and Melody Stevenson of Hicksville; his grandchildren, John, Hannah, Eli, Celia, Madelin Guilford and Alora Stevenson; and his siblings, Mary Kurtz (Robert) of Harlan, Kathy Balser (Greg) of Hicksville, Barbara Cline (Randy) of Hicksville, Donnie Guilford of Sherwood and Rita Layne (J. R.) of Mark Center. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that those planning an expression of sympathy direct them to St. Michael Catholic Church or the Knights of Columbus Council #10043 or the Hicksville Baseball or Softball Association.
