Michael A Swing Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael A Swing of Hicksville, Ohio, who passed away on January 16, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Doris Swing (Powell); his brother Norman Swing; his aunt Edie; and his uncle Dave. He is survived by: his father Joseph Swing; his wife Carla (Conner); his children, Casie Swing (Reggie Hammond), Michelle Swing (Terry Dysinger) and Teri Ritschard (Troy); his brothers, Ralph Swing and Alan Sears (Vickie); his grandchildren, Colton, Dana, Breanna, Brennan, Zach, Seth, Chelsey, Taylor, Chance, Josh and Alex; his cousins, Sam, Jim and Suzy Sargent; and his pet Sammy. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Harlan United Methodist Church (16434 IN-37, Harlan, IN 46743). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
