He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. and Mary B. Bromagen (Foust); his daughter Emily Bromagen; and his siblings, Jim Ridenour and Janet Rollins.
He is survived by: his daughter Ivy Bromagen of Innsbruck, Austria; and his siblings, Roy Ridenour of Angola, Don "Buck" Ridenour (Shirley) of Coldwater, Michigan and Joyce Mocherman of Bryan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
