She was predeceased by: her parents, Jonathon Okey and Margaret Isabell Slaughter (Skelton); her former husband Rolf Carl Gerhardt; her husband James "Mouse" Jones; her children, Debra Teixeira and Michael Gerhardt; and her grandson Abraham Gerhardt Lengacher.
She is survived by: her children, Jodi Flanary (Brendan), Stacy McGrew (Dick), Kris Carson and Kenny Charles (Theresa); her stepdaughter Lisa Jones of Ames, Iowa; her son-in-law Clayton Teixeira of Garrett, Indiana; her sister Sandra Mastin (Richard) of Hicksville; and her extended family, Tillie Blust (Tom), Deana Spears and Missy Wilkerson. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home - Hicksville Chapel (706 N Main St, Hicksville, OH 43526). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 1:45 PM at the Forest Home Cemetery (9 Main St, Hicksville, OH 43526).
