We bid farewell to Leitha B. Cottrell (Hicksville, Ohio), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 29, 2025 at the age of 98. She was predeceased by: her parents, Delbee Ruppert and Alta Ruppert (Loucks); her husband Randall W. Cottrell; her daughters, Connie Lauber and Diana Stairhime-Kosier; her grandson Eric Stairhime; and her siblings, Russell, Teddy, Clifton Ruppert and Thelma Gorrell.
She is survived by: her son Ron Cottrell of Ormond Beach, Florida; her sons-in-law, Sam Lauber of Archbold and Bill Kosier of Stryker; her grandchildren, Lisa Biery (Mark) of Hicksville, Michele Green (Rob) of Defiance, Tami Hagerman (Todd) of Hicksville, Kealey Somers (Daniel) of Plymouth and Rebekah Cottrell of Ormond Beach, Florida; her granddaughter-in-law Sue Stairhime of Hicksville; and her sister-in-law Marilyn Ruppert. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cornerstone Church (232 W Arthur St, Hicksville, OH 43526). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made in Leitha's memory to the American Cancer Society.
