John W. Hootman Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John W. Hootman of Hicksville, Ohio, who passed away on January 17, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Omer Hootman and Zelda Hootman (Dorsey); his wife Joanne Leffew; and his sister Joyce Osborn. He is survived by: his children, Jason Hootman of Roanoke and Page Thrasher (Brandon) of Fort Wayne, Indiana; and his grandchildren, Cassandra Blue, Nathan Hornish and Jonathan Hornish. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be directed to the American Cancer Society, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
