He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Kromer and Dora Kromer-Madden (Volkmer); and his daughter Mary Anne Kaufman. He is survived by: his wife Veronica Santo; his children, John Kromer, Jr. (Lois) of Magnolia, KY, Richard Kromer (Angie) of Louisville, KY and Elizabeth Schmidt (Jeff) of Columbus, OH; his sisters, Carole Herburger (John) of Lakewood, OH and Karen Alexander; and his grandchildren, Holly, Ruth Anne, Callie, Emily, Walton, Seth and David.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Michael Catholic Church (100 Antwerp Dr, Hicksville, OH 43526). A wake was held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made in John's memory to Catholic charities, Salesian Missions, or to St. Michael Catholic Church.
