With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan Bauer of Hicksville, Ohio, born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 18, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Denver Earl and Stella Mock, I (Parker); her husband Claron Bauer; her stepdaughter Vickie Sudlow; her grandsons, Troy Sudlow and Bradley Hiatt; and her siblings, Bonnie Conley, William Mock, Denver Mock II and Leroy "Rick" Mock.
She is survived by: her daughters, Becky Wright (Harley) of Hicksville and Beverly Hiatt of Syracuse, Indiana; her grandsons, Aaron Caley (Elena), Brian Caley, Tim Hiatt, Mike Sudlow and Heath Sudlow; her sisters, Virginia "Jinny" Mitchell of Hicksville and Fay Sitton (Robert) of Hicksville; and her sister-in-law Judith Mock of Bryan. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be directed to Hicksville Eagles Aerie Scholarship Fund in her memory.
